About Me

I am a lifelong learner. A nature lover. I enjoy connecting with friends, family, and others. Introvert with some extroverted tendencies.  I enjoy movement, exercise, and training.  I am currently re-learning what my passion is as far as this goes. I have had a passion for triathlons for the past 15 + years.  However, this past year or two made me search for more.  I felt like I needed more strength.  More mobility.  I needed to diversify my movement.  I got into backpacking and hiking.  I dabbled in yoga and other movement techniques.   My passion is helping others move more and more efficiently. I love seeing the big picture of someone’s movement patterns, and figuring out what is causing the pain. Hint: it’s not always (read: rarely) at the source of the pain. I have my Doctorate and Masters of Physical Therapy and continue to strive to learn more. To help others achieve their goals.

I started this blog because, over the years, I have branched out in my learning. There is still so much for me to learn, but finances, sleep, gratitude, habits, and nutrition have been what keeps me busy, as I dive into education surrounding these topics and more. Learning. Reading. Putting into practice. A little more each day.

2020.  The year of the pandemic. No one will forget how this year made them feel.  Most people struggled this year, and I was one of them.  I am eager to start 2021 off with a bang, continue thriving this year, and meet my goals.  I started this blog to help others, specifically those on the front lines, who see pain, sickness, and loneliness on a constant basis.  I want to invite you on my journey.  Start your own journey.  Monthly goals.  Each month a new goal to strive for is 1% daily.  Will you join in this journey?

Wake up!  It’s 2021.  Let’s get after it!
